CAP reform could mean boost for Britain’s forests — Sewel

REFORM of the Common Agricultural Policy is expected to result in an increase in output from British forests, said Scottish agriculture minister Lord Sewel.

Lord Sewel acknowledged that there were short-term problems in the industry. But he said he expected annual output to increase from 8 million to 14m tonnes a year over the next 15 to 20 years.
