Caterpillar shares ‘high-risk’
SHARES in Caterpillar look like a high-risk investment, reports the Lex column of the Financial Times.
The worlds biggest maker of heavy earthmoving equipment is facing a series of problems.
The poor state of farming is one, as is the state of a number of its key markets such as Brazil and Asia.
The column suggests that Caterpillar “might just get away” with a 15% earnings decline but pitfalls could pull earnings lower.
