Charity pleads for the White Stuff
By Adrienne Francis
A CHILDRENS charity is pleading for the dairy industry to continue funding the White Stuff milk advertising campaign.
The trustees of Milk for Schools say they support the farming industry in their call for the White Stuff campaign to continue.
Charity chair Stephanie Spiers said the charity wishes those holding the purse strings of the dairy industry not to withdraw funding from the campaign.
This campaign is one of the best things for development of the school milk market that the industry has done for decades, she said.
The focus of The White Stuff campaign was finally reaching our secondary schools, where milk bars were being installed and it was cool for kids.
This could have continued to flourish now the Milk Development Council have funded expansion of the milk bar programme.
