CJD expert warns of disaster of "biblical proportions"
CREUTZFELDT-JAKOB Disease could lead to a Europe-wide epidemic of "biblical proportions", with tens of thousands of cases, warns a medical expert.
Talking of “a growing sense of complacency” over CJD, John Collinge, of St Marys Hospital, London, said people should prepare for the worst. The Health Department denies Government complacency.
