Cloned cattle turn back the clock

CLONING experts believe they have reversed the ageing process in animal cells.

Six cloned cattle, up to one year old, were found to have cells biologically younger than those in new-born calves, the journal Science reveals.

Scientists do not fully understand why the ageing process was reversed.

The Daily Telegraph says this breakthrough could offer hope to victims of degenerative diseases such as Alzheimers.
