COLLEGE TRAINEES FIND ALL THEY NEED AT STATE-OF-THE-ART CENTRE

HEREFORDSHIRE College of Technology has a longstanding reputation for its blacksmithing and farriery work and has recently opened a new training centre for these crafts at Holme Lacy, Hereford.

Students will now benefit from newly installed forges and an indoor shoeing area adjacent to their work stations. Over 300 farriery and blacksmithing trainees attend HCT each year with many eventually achieving their ambition of running their own business.

The Princess Royal will officially open the Centre for Rural Crafts in May.
