Concerns grow for teenager missing at Royal Welsh Show

Concerns are growing for a 19-year-old teenager who is missing at the Royal Welsh Show.

James Corfield, from Montgomery, in Powys, was last seen by his friends on Monday evening (24 July), although his last location appears unknown.

Today (26 July) flyers are being handed out at the show appealing for anyone with any information on his whereabouts to come forward.

The flyers read: “James Corfield, 19 years old, has been missing from the YFC Young Peoples Village/Royal Welsh Show Members bar/Builth Wells town centre since Monday night.”

A family friend said it was very out of character and added that James is a “quiet and really pleasant boy who is very well liked.”

Although James is not a member of Young Farmers, a Facebook post (below) from Montgomery YFC about his disappearance has been shared 2,873 times so far.

If you have information on James please call Dyfed Powys Police on 101 and ask to speak to the Royal Welsh Show police officer.
