Ewe’ve been flamed!

A giant straw sheep, which was built by the Seven Sisters Sheep Centre in East Sussex and should be familiar to FWi regulars because it featured in a caption competition, was destroyed by vandals on Bonfire Night.

The sheep, built by the centre’s owner Terry Wigmore, stood at 20ft high and was a comical landmark in the picturesque village of East Dean.
Although such structures are usually temporary, because of the work put into creating the giant sheep  – nicknamed H-ewe-ge by local press – it had been decided to keep it up.
