  • FOB Rouen October wheat value: FFr 770.00 (£ 82.12)

  • Chicago December wheat at close: $2.86 (£ 61.41)

STRONGER Sterling pushed values down by £1/tonne on both domestic and shipping fronts, although there is still reasonable demand for spot wheat to ports and consumption.

Thirteen separate offers were made against the Bangladesh tender, ranging from $115 to $163 CIF (£67-£95). The lowest offer came from Cambridge International of the USA which, it is believed, have omitted to include the freight cost.
