  • £1=DM2.893 / FFr9.70 / $1.622

  • French FOB spot wheat value: FFr 715 (£ 73.71)

  • Chicago July wheat at close: $3.02 (£ 68.36)



FRIDAY was a flat day with very few trades. Biscuit wheats are still required for June-August with premiums at £2/4 per tonne, depending on specification – the best premiums are for max 10%, 74kg low screening Riband.
Milling wheat is not as sought-after and levels are starting to drop off by £1/2 per tonne.
Feed wheat is almost impossible to sell for harvest on both delivered markets and FOB.
