- French FOB spot wheat value: FFr 717.50 (£ 73.74)
- Chicago July wheat at close: $2.75 (£ 61.80)
THE United States Department of Agriculture reports that 9% of wheat has now beeen harvested, with yields good-to-excellent.
- Mississippi: 53% harvested
- Arkansas: 31% harvested
- Oklahoma: 28% harvested.
Chicago set a new five-year low yesterday and closed just 4¢/bushel off the seven-year low of $2.71/bushel.
