THERE was brisk start to the week, with spot supply and demand pushing futures higher once again. Reports of only 10% of harvest cut in Yorkshire and only 30% in parts of the Midlands also helped to push spot values higher. Yields are very varied, with some at 3.5-4.0 t/acre, but others as low as 2.5-2.75 t/acre.
