Danisco agrees to buy Cultor for £881m
THE Danish food group Danisco has agreed to buy Cultor, the Finnish ingredients company, for Dkr9.5 billion (£881m).
The move will create Europes sixth-biggest food company which will have its headquarters in Copenhagen.
The new Danisco will become the fourth-largest processor of sugar and sweeteners in Europe after Sudzucker of Germany, Frances Edidiana and British Sugar.
