THE Department of Trade and Industry is giving scientists £600,000 to help them refine the cloning techniques that led to Dolly the sheep.

The money will contribute to a three-year, £1.25 million project organised by the Roslin Institute and PPL Therapeutics, in Edinburgh, Scotland.
