What is your vision for the future of the countryside?

Do you want to share your vision for the future of the countryside with the world?

If so, the Campaign to Protect Rural England is running a writing competition that you may want to enter.

The organisation is asking people to pull together their inspirational ideas on how to make people think more about the countryside, the environment and how people use it.

There will two categories, under 18, and 18 and over, and the first prize in each category is a signed copy of the book, A Picture of Britain by David Dimbleby, and free CPRE membership for a year.

The closing date for entries, which should be no more 200 words, is Friday 11 November.
