Farm floods probed in foot-and-mouth investigation

DEFRA experts are investigating a farm flood as the potential source of the foot-and-mouth outbreak as they endeavour to identify its origin.


At a press briefing on Monday (6 August) DEFRA chief veterinary officer Debby Reynolds said the flooding on Wolford farm, nr Guildford was being considered as a means by which the animals became infected.
