Farmer fined £250 for slurry in stream

CARDIGANSHIRE farmer William Williams was fined £250 this week after he pleaded guilty to polluting a local stream with slurry in Nov 1996.

Mr Williams, of Nantycry-manuau Farm, Llechryd, was prosecuted by the Environment Agency. As well as the fine, he was ordered to pay £440 costs.
