Farmer throws offal at council

COUNCIL workers in Cranbrook, west Kent, had pig entrails thrown around their offices earlier this week.

The pail of intestines was hurled, along with four dead piglets, by a protestor, believed to be a disgruntled pig farmer.

Kent Police said that the alleged attacker was receiving treatment at a Maidstone hospital following the incident.

He was believed to be complaining at a refusal for planning permission to build a home on his farm.
