Farming causes animal epidemics

FARMING is one of the human activities most likely to cause various epidemics among animals, according to scientists.

The Institute of Zoology in the UK working with research institutes in Australia and the US report a link in the journal Science Today.

But scientists found that even innocuous activities as feeding nuts to garden birds can eventually lead to the emergence of new bacterial infections in animals.
