Finnie weighs up tenancy reform

MORE flexibility in tenancy arrangements, clearer terms of notice and compensation at the end of a tenancy are being weighed up by Scotlands rural affairs minister Ross Finnie.

In The Herald Mr Finnie says he expects to be bringing forward a revised agricultural holdings act to reform the tenancy contract in the parliamentary session starting next July.

A consultation document should be available by next year.
