French probe into ‘mad bee disease’
HONEY bees in France are suffering from so-called mad bee disease.
The French Government has launch an urgent scientific investigation into why the bees in the west of the country are becoming disoriented and dying in their millions.
The outbreak has been widely blamed on Gaucho, an insecticide made by Bayer,of Germany, which is used to protect sunflowers from parasites.
