GMOs — a missed opportunity?
IS British farming missing a massive opportunity? We could be GMO-free.
I am sure there would be a big world market for this label. There are lots
of people out there that can see the major risks being taken with the rushed
introduction of the mutant plants that will cause untold damage to our
environment for the rest of time.
We are messing with the source of all life (genes). That is what makes it potentially so dangerous. Britain as an island could grow guaranteed GMO-free food. Then if there was a problem or even a scare, think of the potential.
Why are we not considering doing this, instead of rushing headlong to appease big business from the USA?
