Grain market update

Wednesday 11 March

The wheat markets had been struggling to improve over
Mon/Tue morning, but as soon as the value of Sterling
went through DM3.00, values were slashed by £1.
Chicago was slightly firmer overnight on weather factors.
France is offering export credit facilities to South Korea.

  • French FOB spot wheat value: FFr 812.50 (£76.14)
  • Chicago December wheat at close: $3.47 (£76.21)
