Group tells tale of cereals versatility

Bread, lager, baby food and biodegradable packaging were among the 50 products used by a group of farmers as part of their display at the Royal Show.

The 30 cereal growers and traders from Northumberland had a stand explaining The Story of Cereals from

farm to food.

Working in shifts of eight each day, the group was supported by big-screen and multi-media presentations.

The stand was part of the Unique Northumberland Cereals project to

promote cereals and cereals foods from this years featured county.
