Her many visits to the Royal Smithfield Show in London and countless other agricultural events throughout the land are remembered with affection.
The Queen Mothers passion for livestock farming, and the Aberdeen-Angus breed in particular, has proved an inspiration to generations of British farmers in good times and bad.
