Hawks fed rats to protect red grouse


DEAD rats and white mice are to used as bird feed in a bid to stop
birds of prey from attacking red grouse.


The Earl of Dalkeith hopes to maintain grouse numbers without
caving in to calls from some gamekeepers and landowners to cull birds
of prey.
