Heavy metal health hazard pioneer dies


PROFESSOR Harry Warren, who made landmark discoveries about the way crops and other plants react to poisonous heavy metals under the earth, has died aged 93.

His work from the late 1950s dealt with the health hazards of heavy metals and their levels in the food chain.
