HELP A CHILD AND WIN A JCB FASTRAC!

You could win a 170hp JCB Fastrac 3185 worth £70,000 in the JCB/NSPCC/FW competition

running over the next six weeks. Its a competition with a difference though –

were asking you to donate £10 to the NSPCCs Full Stop campaign with your entry

THIS is almost certainly the biggest competition ever to run in the pages of farmers weekly. Not just because the £70,000 JCB Fastrac is the most valuable piece of equipment weve ever had on offer, but because the aim of the competition is to bring in £50,000 towards the £1m target JCB has set itself to raise this year for the NSPCCs Full Stop campaign.

FIRST PRIZE:

JCB FASTRAC 3185

EVER-EXPANDING workloads in modern farming require machines to be quicker than ever in the field. But theres also a need to gain traction without increasing compaction. The arrival of the Fastrac meant that both of these problems could be solved at the same time. It is the only draft tractor with a full suspension – that means field operations can be carried out much quicker, making better use of the limited time available to farmers and contractors. Equal-sized wheels and constant ground force also improves traction, without excessive weight.

Together with truck-style air-brakes, the unique suspension enables the Fastrac to be fully road-legal up to 40mph even when towing a 14t trailer.

And draft performance hasnt been compromised. The Fastrac compares with any tractor for ploughing performance.

Essentially, what the Fastrac does is increase machine utilisation. It is fully productive every day of the year rather than simply being used every day of the year (or, worse still, only used to its full in the autumn).

No other tractor better meets the demands of modern farming.

All you have to do for a chance to win a JCB 3185 Fastrac is fill in the coupon and answer the simple question at the top, the answer to which is given somewhere in the text on this page. Your donation can be sent by cheque with the coupon or pledged over the following credit card free-phone number: 0800-731 9471 (8.30am-6pm weekdays). £10 is the minimum donation but wed be delighted to receive more.

Play to win and help children

This week between one and two children in this country will die following acts of cruelty and 3000 will be physically abused. These are shocking figures.

The NSPCC has launched the Full Stop campaign to wipe out child abuse in this country within a generation. To succeed in their mission the NSPCC needs to raise £250m.

My involvement with the NSPCC began when my own children were small and I knew how lucky they were. Sadly, many children will never experience a stable home or supportive family. As president of the mid-Staffs branch of NSPCC and a vice-chairman of the NSPCC National Appeal Board, I know what a difference the work of this Society can make to so many childrens lives.

Here at JCB, we were all so moved by the Full Stop campaign that we have decided to raise £1m towards it. We need your help to reach our target.

By supporting this competition you will help the NSPCC to provide valuable support for those who cannot help themselves – the children. Please help us to help the NSPCC succeed in their mission. Cruelty to children must stop. FULL STOP.

Vice-Chairman of NSPCC National Appeal Board
