Hemp to challenge artificial fibres?

HEMCORE, Europes second-biggest hemp processor, now has 80 UK farmers under contract. They are licensed by the Home Office.

The European Union subsidy is likely to drop this year from £642 per ha (£260 per acre) to £568 per ha (£230 per acre).

Several companies in Europe hope hemp will challenge artificial fibres.
