IACSpaperwork needed for flax

FARMERS wishing to claim subsidies on fibre flax, hemp or hops, either independently or through a producer organisation, will have to complete an IACS form this year following a new Brussels ruling.

The deadline for these and other IACS applications is May 15. However, the latest date for applying for new field numbers following boundary changes is Mar 1, says the ministry. Where changes occur after that date, applications should accompany the IACS form.
