Indonesia ups palm oil export tax

INDONESIA raised export taxes for crude palm oil and its by-products yesterday.

The move was taken in an attempt to stabilise cooking oil prices.

Indonesia lifted a four-month ban on palm oil exports in April that had been aimed at stabilising the price.
