LACS members expelled for talking turkey
TWO senior members of the League Against Cruel Sports (LACS) were expelled after they became involved in compromise talks with the foxhunting lobby.
They are the leagues former chairman Mark Davies, and Steve Watson, former regional representative for Bedfordshire. They are also leading figures in the Wildlife Network, which is seeking to reform rather than abolish hunting.
They are threatening a court challenge to the decision.
Mike Fosters Private Members Bill, which aims to ban hunting with hounds completely, goes before the House of Commons on November 28.
