THE latest advances in poultry health and management are contained in the recently published fourth edition of Poultry Health and Management, edited by David Sainsbury.
The book includes information on new systems which are environmentally and welfare friendly, and greater emphasis is given to hygiene and vaccines in disease control than in previous editions.
Other topics covered by the book include feeding, drinking, lighting and egg collection. Information on legislation concerning the safety of poultry products is also provided.
