‘Loopy’ cow puts postman in hospital
A COW which had just calved the previous night went “loopy” and charged a postman walking through its field.
Alistair Johnson was on his rounds in Whalley, Lancashire, when the attack occurred.
The cows owner, Alan Coates, said cows are extremely protective of their calves “but this one went loopy”. The Hostein has since been destroyed.
