McDonalds hit in hormone-beef war
FOUR French farmers in the Roquefort cheese-making area have been arrested and charged for ransacking a site where a McDonalds fast-food restaurant was being built.
The attack is the latest in a series of protest against the US imposition of a 100% import duty on some European food, including Roquefort.
The duty was imposed after Europe banned imports of hormone-treated US beef.
