MD quits troubled Iceland
By FWi staff
ICELAND managing director Andrew Pritchard has become the latest senior executive to quit the troubled frozen food retailer, reports the Daily Express.
And chief executive Bill Grimsey gave the second profit warning in a fortnight, after founder Malcolm Walker resigned over a controversial share deal.
Iceland shares collapsed 38.5p to 149p. The company has lost half of its value in less than a month, and the Express says its reputation is “in tatters”.
