Monsanto launches GM foods campaign
MONSANTO, the life sciences group at the forefront of genetically modified crops, launches an advertising campaign tomorrow to explain the “huge benefits” and “safety” of biotechnology to British consumers.
Meanwhile, two more of the companys UK test sites have been destroyed by protesters who claim the technology is unsafe. Eco-warriors have destroyed a number of test sites around the UK in recent months.
