New job for Baroness Young

BARONESS Young of Old Scone has announced that she is to step down as chairman of English Nature to take up the role of chief executive of the Environment Agency.
Baroness Young has served as chairman of the body, which acts as the governments countryside and conservation advisor, since 1998. She will step down from Nov 26.
Prior to English Nature she was chief executive of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.
