NFU confronts George over Pound

THE strong Pound has damaged UK farmings competitiveness, cut export prices and pushed the Green Pound down by 14% in a year, NFU president Sir David Naish has told Bank of England Governor Eddie George.

Sir David is seeking a meeting with the Governor to further make his point and ask for action.
