ACCURATE data for valuation of dairy herd stock in NMR recorded herds, will be provided free when foot-and-mouth is suspected.
Once an outbreak is confirmed, valuations are needed almost immediately and pedigree performance certificates can help, says NMR.
The certificates are available for milking cows, youngstock and crossbred beef animals within the herd and include four generations of ancestors, along with production and genetic information.
NMR has already provided over 50 sets of certificates to customers affected by the crisis.
To make sure customers have the data they require as quickly as possible – with priority given to those in or bordering restricted areas – NMR aims to send out certificates on the day requested, seven days a week. *
