Non-executive resigns at Albert Fisher

A NON-executive director at food group Albert Fisher has resigned from the board after a disagreement over strategy.

The departure of Ali Wambold, who has sat on the board for nine years, follows the arrival of Terry Robinson at Albert Fisher last October.

A company spokesman said that immediately before the arrival of Mr Robinson Mr Wambold had recommended the sale of two of Fishers major divisions.

Mr Robinson has taken on the recommendations to sell Fisher Quality Foods but had decided to keep the other element, the chilled foods business.
