Norsk Hydro looks to Jordan
NORSK Hydro, Norways largest industrial group, plans a NKr 4 billion (£321m) fertiliser plant in Jordan.
The fertiliser, energy, metals and chemicals company is a 60% partner in the project with the Jordanian Phosphate Mining Company.
Norsk Hydro said it had made the Jordanian fertiliser project a priority because of its strategic position for supplying the Asian and African markets.
