NZ dairy fraud charges to be dropped?

LAWYERS said fraud charges against six executives from the New Zealand Dairy Board are expected to be dropped when the case reaches the Old Bailey tomorrow.

The six were accused of breaching quota limits for sales of New Zealand butter in the European Union.

Seven charges were made against the men in April 1997 but five were dropped in October.
