OECD ministers agree on agriculture trade talks


MINISTERS from leading industrialised countries have reached agreement to begin negotiations on another trade round but are at odds about the key items which will be on the agenda.

The annual ministerial meeting of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has endorsed planned World Trade Organisation talks on agriculture and services.

But they are at loggerheads over whether the new trade round should include investment.
