Oz trade figures show Asia on the mend

AUSTRALIAN exporters are taking advantage of the recovery in the East Asian region, trade figures released last week reveal.

“Rural exports continue to grow and in March this year were 18% above March last year,” Trade Minister Mark Vaile told the Stock and Land.

“Rural exports are up 5% with meat up 7%, wool and sheep skins up 6% and other rural exports up 8%.”
