Papua New Guinea tidal wave
kills subsistence farmers
MORE than 1,000 people are feared dead after at least three tidal waves hit Papua New Guineas remote north coast on Friday night.
Most people in the afflicted villages live off subsistence farming. The countrys four million people are largely dependent on agriculture and mining.
