Radioactive levels in food low in Scotland


RADIOACTIVE levels in foodstuffs and doses from nuclear site discharges in Scotland are well below internationally recommended limits, according to a report by the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.

The researchers looked at about 5700 samples of milk, fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.
