Second CJD case in France
FRENCH health authorities have discovered a second case of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), the human brain disorder believed to be related to the consumption of beef contaminated with BSE.
A 36-year-old woman has been found to have the disease.
Doctors have detected 48 cases of CJD in Britain so far.
