Shopping on the web from NMR

SHOP for ear-tags, animal health products and more over the internet with a new service launched by NMR at the Royal Show.

The service, Farm Express, aims to provide cattle and sheep producers with clearly displayed prices and an easy way to place orders at the press of a button.

"Electronic trading started last Friday, July 2," said NMR chief executive, Robin Turner. "It currently has a limited range of products, but we hope to build that over the coming months. Products are sourced from manufacturers, cutting out the middle-men and reducing farm prices."

Producers can pay through an NMR account, which is available to any livestock producer or by debit or credit card in a secure transfer system.

Farm Express can be accessed through its new herd management programme, ImpelPro (Business, Jul 2) also launched at the event, or directly via the internet. &#42
