Slurry spill poisons River Yeo
By FWi staff
HUNDREDS of fish are expected to be killed after farm slurry blighted six miles of the River Yeo in Devon, reports the Financial Times.
Scores of dead fish have been spotted and a series of pumps have been set up to minimise the impact as slurry travelled downstream.
The Environment Agency was alerted over the weekend by a call to its pollution hotline.
